Trying out a prototype handlebar bag

I started sewing around 2020. I have a DIY attitude and like to work with my hands (I’m also a bike mechanic and a visual artist). The first thing I made that I wasn’t ashamed to show to others was a simple, unlined zippered tote. I continued making things that I wanted, mostly bags for my bike, then decided to make some extras and bring them to a fair where I was selling my art. The response was better than I expected and I kept at it, improving my skills and designing new items.

I’m committed to using recycled or organic fabrics when possible. I currently sew with my refurbished great-grandmother’s treadle operated Singer from 1921.
